Daffodil day

The daffodil was chosen as the symbol of hope for all affected by cancer because of its reputation as a hardy annual flower, pushing its way through the frozen earth after a long winter to herald the return of spring, new life, vitality and growth. As one of the first flowers of spring, the daffodil symbolises rebirth and new beginnings. To Cancer Council, the daffodil represents hope for a cancer-free future.

why I like my Chromebook.

I am going to tell you why I like my chromebook.

I like my chromebook because you can travel on google maps. and you can research with it and you can make your own slide show and make a document.

It helps my learning by...helping you type faster  and helps you if you get a word wrong you double click it and then a  Dictionary  shows up and then it changers to the word you want.

Nelson mandela was a leader of the ANC. He wanted to be no violence so they can be all equally. He didn't want the black or white to dominate so they can be all equal. He didn’t like the rules so he was put in prison for 27 years.

Recount; A time I was successful.

WALT; Retell of a past experienre.

WILF; Audience has all the information needed.

''Isley, do you want to come boxing'', my dad asked. Yes the closer our car got to the gym , the more scared I became.

First we had to warm up by skipping.

Next we did Shadowboxing with jogging.

Then we did laps and kneeing and punching the pads.

After we did five obsticles, they were shadowboxing, laps , skipping, kneeing and kicking.

We had ten minutes break and then we did pads and boxing bags again.

When it was over I thought to myself I should come every time my dad does.

Purpose: Describe a moment in time for the soldiers.
WALT : Describe what and how the ANZAC soldiers would have:
1- Seen, 2- Felt, 3-Heard, 4- Smelt onboard the ship as they waved
goodbye to their loved ones on their way to WAR!

As I sat on the edge of the large, hard steel ship with my legs dangling limply over board I could see…….

My family hugging and crying together.

I felt… like my world was falling  to parts.

I could hear...soldiers sobbing beside me.

I could smell… salty ocean water fuel and smoke.

I was thinking… how dare they do this to me and my family.
